Housing Appeal Form
office of residential life
Students seeking an additional semester or year of housing may appeal for on-campus housing. All requests for additional housing must be made in writing.
Please note: Due to the high demand for on-campus housing, it is difficult to grant appeals. In order to be granted an appeal for housing based on medical or psychological need, an applicant must provide evidence of medical necessity. The information provided should include a complete summary or, better still, release of records and/or copies of visits to your physician and/or physical therapist, delineating the current problem. Please include X-ray reports and/or other documentation that will help us make a decision. A one- or two-line note from a doctor stating that he or she thinks that you need housing is not sufficient.
