Resident Assistants (RA) are full-time students who live in the residence halls and are responsible for a community of residents. They provide support, act as a resource for students, coordinate social and educational programs, and work together as a staff to enforce University policy within the halls.
Our graduate positions are considered direct, on-the-job training for those entering the field of higher education. Some of the positions, however, are also open to those studying theology and pastoral ministry, social work, counseling, and other people-centered disciplines. Those graduate students not entering the fields listed above may apply to become a Resident Assistant.
Students are also hired as Office Assistants or Facilities Assistants. OAs either work in the main office in Maloney or in RD offices around campus helping with various administrative tasks. Facilities Assistants work with our full time Facilities Supervisors all over campus. FAs help inventory, repair, move, deliver, and organize our furniture supply.
