Reserve Parking

Boston College has a limited number of off-street parking spaces for rent. These permits will be issued on a random lottery basis. Parking is available only at the Embassy Road and Strathmore/Orkney properties. Parking spaces are rented at $165* per month for the academic year. The costs for different terms listed below.

Campus Parking

Students residing in Graduate Student Housing are not eligible for a Boston College campus resident parking permit. For additional campus parking information, applications, and regulations, please visit the web site of BC's Department of Transportation & Parking.

Street Parking in Brighton

Street parking in Brighton is extremely restricted. Most areas require a neighborhood resident permit sticker issued by the City of Boston. Please note that possession of a city permit is not a guarantee of finding a parking space. To be eligible for a neighborhood resident permit, the vehicle must be registered in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Public Transportation

All graduate student complexes are close to the MBTA's Green Line (subway and trolley). Visit the MBTA's web site to learn about Boston's public transportation system.

Boston College Shuttle Service

This free shuttle is operated by Boston College and services the Chestnut Hill and Newton Campuses. The shuttle makes limited stops in the Brighton area. For more information on the Boston College Shuttle, including route information, please visit: bc.edu/shuttle.
