Elizabeth is a junior at Dedham High School. She is an American Red Cross certified lifeguard and swim instructor. In elementary and middle school, Elizabeth took swim lessons and joined her first swim team at the Rec Plex in the summer. She's been swimming competitively year round ever since and is now a varsity swimmer for Dedham High. Because she was inspired by the teenage instructors when she was a kid at the Plex, Elizabeth came back to lifeguard and teach lessons over the summer. Her goal for the summer is to inspire and motivate young swimmers the same way Rec Plex instructors did with her six summers ago. Outside of working at BC, Elizabeth is captain of her school's debate team, involved in YMCA Youth & Government and competes nationally in mock trial.

Rebecca is a sophomore in the College of Arts and Sciences studying Sociology and Philosophy. She started swimming at the age of 9 on a local swim team in her hometown and continued with them until she entered high school. She received her lifeguard/CPR certification coming out of high school and has guarded for BC since the start of her freshman year. This is her first year teaching at the plex but she loves working with younger kids as she has three younger siblings of her own, the youngest of which is her age when she started swimming. In the other free time she has at BC, she's dancing for both the Golden Eagles Dance Team and the latin dance team, Vida de Intensa Pasiòn. She looks forward to teaching because she enjoyed learning how to swim herself at such a young age.
