Men's Water Polo
The Boston College Men’s Club Water Polo Team was first founded as a club in September of 1972. While the team has a long history competing in many different conferences and at many different levels, it is currently a club in the New England Division of the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA). The division is composed of local teams such as Boston University, as well as other regional neighbors such as Dartmouth College and Middlebury College. Although the team practices throughout the entire academic year, the main season starts a week prior to the beginning of the fall semester and wraps up at the end of November. Practices occur four to five times per week in the fall, and three to four times per week in the spring and are held in the Flynn Recreational Complex. The team holds tryouts at the beginning of the academic year, and while they are very competitive, it is encouraged for anyone with interest and an aquatic background to contact the team for information.
