Club Sports Council
The Mission of the Boston College Club Sports Council is to unite Club Sports as a single organization representing those students who seek a high level of athletic competition, sportsmanship, camaraderie, and leadership opportunities. The Boston College Club Sports Council will address the concerns that affect Club Sports as a whole by providing a unified student voice, and working to promote Boston College Club Sports both within and outside of the university through competition and community service. The Council seeks to facilitate the growth and future success of the Boston College Club Sports programs.
MATCH Program Chair
(Men’s Volleyball ’18)
Oversees executive board operations and acts as a liaison between club athletes and the administration. Also oversees all aspects of the MATCH Program including tracking activity, facilitating team interaction, and developing the program as a whole.
(Women’s Ice Hockey ’18)
Oversees executive board operations and acts as a liaison between club athletes and the administration. Also responsible for marketing, promotional, social media and public relations projects intended to promote the Club Sports program both within and outside of the Boston College Community.
(Men’s Lacrosse ’18)
Oversees all financial processes in the Club Sports program and serves as a financial intermediary between the program and the University. Responsible for guiding club teams through the budgeting proposal process and leading the executive board in funding decisions.
Special Events Chair
(Men’s Soccer ’19)
Responsible for taking the lead on organizing and planning all program-wide events for the Club Sports Community, including the senior awards event.
(Men’s Crew ’20)
Promotes the development of the Club Sports program by pursuing projects to further the growth and success of both current and prospective club athletes. Facilitates events and processes involving recruiting and community outreach.
