The mission of the Boston College Club Sports program is to provide athletic opportunities to those students who are seeking a level of competition and camaraderie at a higher level. In keeping with Campus Recreation's mission, the Club Sports program focuses specifically on the physical component of the Boston College mission in its commitment to the formation of the whole person – intellectually, physically, socially, and spiritually. Additionally, the BC Club Sports program is committed to sponsoring programs that promote excellence, good sportsmanship and leadership.
The key to the success of any sport lies in its student involvement and leadership. Registered student organization status is a privilege, and carries with it the responsibility to utilize the name of Boston College as a designation of affiliation. However, each registered student organization has an obligation to Boston College to adhere to its policies and procedures.
