Boston College News Update: 4-19-13

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. (4-19-13) -- State emergency management officials have asked businesses, schools and colleges in six cities and towns - Allston/Brighton, Cambridge, Belmont, Newton, Waltham and Watertown - to remain closed Friday morning, as a manhunt continues in the Watertown area for an at-large suspect in the Marathon Monday bombing attack.
Officials have also asked residents to remain in their homes. MBTA service is suspended.

BC Police are monitoring the BC campus which, they say, is safe. However they reiterate the State request that all residents stay indoors until further notice.

Therefore, all services are currently suspended. Students should remain inside their dorm rooms and apartments until alerted otherwise.
