Richard Kearney

A scholar, essayist, activist, poet, novelist, and television talk-show host in Ireland in the 1980s and 1990s, Kearney was involved in drafting a number of proposals for a Northern Irish peace agreement and in speechwriting for Irish President Mary Robinson. Author of numerous books, including Strangers, Gods, and Monsters: Interpreting Otherness; The God Who May Be: A Hermeneutics of Religion and Postnationalist Ireland: Politics, Literature, Philosophy. Courses have included: "Philosophy of Imagination."
