Mission
The mission of the Office of Marketing Communications is to develop means whereby Boston College and its academic and executive units can convey the rich range of the University's animating ideas and strengths in teaching, scholarship, and service.
Activities
The activities of the Office of Marketing Communications include publishing, graphic design, photography, event development and management, Web design, marketing counsel, and strategic planning for units and programs of the University and for the University as a whole.
Representative products and programs in 2007-08 include:
Publishing: Boston College Magazine, the Undergraduate Admissions Bulletin, the Boston College Annual Report, student research publications, admissions materials for both undergraduate and graduate programs across the University.
Multimedia: University Events Calendar, Boston College Front Row, @BC Bulletin, @BC Web site, Webcam strategy, Student Events Bulletin, HTML e-mail strategy.
Special Events: Alumni in Residence, Writers Among Us, Massachusetts Foundation for the Humanities Symposium, Baldwin Awards, Church in the 21st Century's Catholic Politicians in the United States.
