WRC Support Groups

All support groups are confidential, safe spaces for students to talk about the issues that matter most to us...

The Women's Resource Center provides several groups for female students at Boston College. The groups are confidential, free of charge, and they offer a caring atmosphere where women can come together to find support, to share their experience, or to simply listen. New members are always welcome.

HOPE (Healthy Options for the Pressures of Eating):

Is worrying about calories, food intake, or exercise taking up too much of  your brain space? Then, please join us for a confidential discussion group where students can talk with each other about strategies to manage these concerns.

Time: TBD
Location: TBD

Survivor's Circle:
A confidential, safe space for BC women students with questions about consent, unwanted sexual experiences, or sexual assault to support one another's concerns and answer questions.

Time: TBD
Location: TBD

LBQ (Lesbian, Bisexual, Questioning):

A comfortable, confidential space for conversation on coming out or being out and being female at BC.

Time: TBD
Location: TBD

Please call the WRC at 2-3489 or email us at wrc@bc.edu for more information about these groups.

Two Women at Clothesline Project

WRC support groups are open to all. Also, feel free to stop in and meet with one of our peer counselors. We are always here to listen.
