Events and Programs

The Women's Resource Center staff plans programs for the campus community to raise awareness about issues affecting women at Boston College and to celebrate women's accomplishments in the community and in the world. WRC annual programs include:

OUTREACH

The Center also offers programs that are able to be presented in residence halls or classrooms.

The WRC also co-sponsors several programs throughout the year with other campus organizations, including AHANA, Campus Ministry, the Counseling Center, Eating Awareness Team, Ladies in Business, Peer Education Network, Residential Life, Sexual Assault Network, UGBC Women's Issues Council, and the Women's Studies Program.

Any students, staff, or faculty interested in discussing topics related to any gender issues may contact the WRC Director to create or co-sponsor a program.

 

Clothesline

In April, the annual Clothesline project filled the dustbowl with t-shirts made by survivors of sexual assault and those who support them. The t-shirts represent women who have been affected by this and help to promote awareness and recovery.
