Optional Practical Training
On April 8, 2008, DHS published the interim final rule that changes several key aspects of F-1 optional practical training (OPT). More information.

As of April 8, 2008 the USCIS announced that it received enough H1B applications to meet the cap for fiscal year 2009. For more information visit www.uscis.gov

Graduation Reception, May 19th
The Office of International Students and Scholars invites all to the Commencement Reception on Monday, May 19th 1:30-3:00pm in the Heights Room located in Corocoran Commons. We wish to congratulate all of our graduating students and wish them well in their future endeavors.

Walk In Hours
Begins Tuesday, April 22th. During the designated time slots, you will be able to get your immigration form signed immediately if you have all the required documents and forms completed. We hope that these hours will facilitate travel procedures for our international students and get answers to important questions.
