Class of 2000

  • Brianne Chai-Onn ('00) earned her MA in International Education from NYU and is now working for an international non-profit as a project director. She also does relocation/cultural training for expatriate families.
  • Elizabeth Hughes ('00) works for the Drug Enforcement Administration as a Presidential Management Fellow in Arlington, VA. She also teaches ESL to adults in Washington, D.C.
  • Jennifer Ibach ('00) works as a case manager with a non-profit housing agency. After graduation, she spent a year and a half volunteering in shantytowns and an inner-city youth center in Santiago, Chile.
  • Maureen McIntyre ('00) works at Northwestern University as an Assistant Coordinator of a summer program for gifted and talented students in PreK-6th grades. She is also finishing a Master's of Science in Education at Northwestern.
  • Andres Nieto ('00) is on a Naval Scholarship studying at the Fletcher School at Tufts earning a Master's Degree in International Law and Diplomacy and attending Medical School.
  • Koh Tackeuchi ('00) is teaching English and pursuing a music career in Tokyo, Japan.

Class of 2001

  • Keri Charles ('01) is working with EF Education with their Cultural Care Au Pair program in Boston, MA.
  • Erin Keaney ('01) is in her second year of law school at George Mason University and works part-time as a law clerk at the Department of Justice Office of Consumer Litigation.
  • Elizabeth Bibbe Dombovary is an attorney in Miami, FL. She is an addociate with Lewis R. Cohen, P.A., outside general counsel to Mellon United National Bank. She practices predominantly in the areas of banking, finance, real estate, contracts, business formation and commercial litigation. She also assists the bank in the day to day legal issues that arise as well as provides legal assistance to various other banking institutions.

Class of 2002

  • Benjamin Biddle ('02) works for Citigroup as an analyst in a pilot program dealing with their derivatives practice. After graduation he joined Americorps as a VISTA volunteer and spent a year in New York working for ACCION New York, the nation's largest microfinance company.
  • Lydia Khalil ('02) is pursuing a master's degree at Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service, Security Studies Program. In May 2003, she was appointed to work for the Coalition Provisional Authority in Baghdad, Iraq as part of L. Paul Bremer's staff on governance and democracy building issues. I served in Baghdad from May, 2003-May, 2004. She received an DOD Secretary of Defense's Outstanding Public Service Award for her work in Iraq.
  • Matthew Miceli ('02) is studying for a Master's degree in International and European Relations at Linköpings Universitet in Sweden.
  • Meghan (Murray) Moorhouse ('02) works as the Volunteer and Programs Leader for a program that provides fee literacy classes for adults in Houston, TX.
  • Timur Pakay ('02) is an assistant coordinator for a French hotel/tour company in New York City.
  • Amanda Schweitzer ('02) is living in Chicago and teaching at a bi-lingual inner-city Jesuit High School in Chicago, IL.
  • Lauren Butera ('02) is living in Miami, FL and working as an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer in partnership with the City of Miami working on grant writing, capacity development and fundraising to help the low-income families of the area. She hopes to continue with a career in community services upon completion of her year with AmeriCorps in August 2006.

Class of 2003

  • Frank Grabowski ('03) is pursuing a masters degree in Political Science at BC and works for the Global Justice Project.
  • Christina Keller ('03) works for Environmental Resources Trust in Washington, D.C. she is a project manager working with renewable energy in developing countries.
  • Kari Knight ('03) is a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar at the Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva, Switzerland.
  • Joseph Reganato ('03) works as a campus minister at Central Catholic High School in Lawrence, MA.
  • Roshanak Taghavi ('03) recently returned from Egypt, where she spent the last year working as a Presidential Intern at the American University in Cairo and a freelance correspondent for Al-Ahram Weekly, the Egyptian state newspaper. She is currently obtaining a Master of International Affairs at the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University.
  • Annette Fay ('03) spent the last two years between Mexico, the U.S. and Ghana working and volunteering with a variety of youth initiatives. She is currently in Berkeley, CA interning with African refugees and asylum seekers from all over the Bay Area.

Class of 2004

  • Kristin Aguiar ('04) has joined the Peace Corps and has recently been nominated to a position in a Health Extension program in rural Central/South America.
  • Sarah Berger ('04) is on a Fulbright Scholarship in Chile where she is studying the enculturation of Catholicism with the Mapuche religion and teaching English at a university.
  • Diana Dombrowski ('04) is working for the Office of Naval Intelligence in Washington, D.C.
  • Terric Foong ('04) is part of the Marketing Leadership Development Program at EMC in Hopkinton, MA.
  • Lauren Goslin ('04) is earning her Master's degree in International Education at NYU.
  • Callie Kozlak ('04) is volunteering with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps. at Legal Aide in Raleigh, NC.
  • Mike McMahon ('04) is teaching English in Madrid, Spain.
  • Sebstien Millet ('04) is working for L'Oreal USA in NJ as a purchasing agent for the luxury product division.
  • Bridget Monohan ('04) is a caseworker with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps in Mobile, AL.
  • Kalidia Reyes ('04) is working for Telemundo Boston on the weekly documentary show "Vivencias".


Class of 2005

  • Carla Breton plans to gain some work experience and then would like to pursue a Masters degree in International Studies and Economics. She would eventually like to get involved in politics in the Dominican Republic.
  • Kathleen Burke is working for the Bill and Melinda gates foundation in Seattle on their AIDS grants for the African continent.
  • Rebecca Connolly is working for Morgan Stanley in New York City.
  • Elisabeth Crupe joined the Citigroup Global Corporate and Investment Bank as a paralegal and special assistant in the General Counsel's offce.
  • Caitlin Dolan is volunteering with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps in San Francisco. Her job placement is at the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights.
  • Kathleen Dowling joined the Peace Corps. She will be teaching English in a French-speaking African country.
  • Christine Gilbert is pursuing a Master's in International History at the London School of Economics.
  • Jehangir Ilahi Jeh joined the Citigroup Corporate and Investment banking division to work for the Global corporate Finance department.
  • M. Amaris Kinne is a Fellow in the New York City Teaching Fellows. Amaris will be teaching English as a Second Language in the Bronx to students in a New York City public elementary school.
  • Jonathan Lennon is working for a United Nations Commission on urban health care infrastructure in Dakar, Senegal and studying intensive French at African Consultants International (ACI) under the auspices of a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship.
  • Hyunjoo Lee is in the Peace Corp. She will be working in environmental education somewhere in Central/Latin America.
    • Rachel Manzione is in Italy teaching English for a year and plans to apply to law school for the fall of 2006.
  • Vanessa Mapula is working for a government organization that assists immigrants in their transitional process as "newcomers" to the United States in Guadalajara, Mexico.
  • Alexander McShiras is working as a paralegal with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps for the Florence Immigration and Refugee Project.
  • Anne Mooser joined the Peace Corps and is providing health care and health education in the Pacific Islands region.
  • Susanne Sullivan moved to El Salvador to work with Cebes Fundamehr, an organization that hosts delegations from universities and church parishes to learn about El Salvador’s history, culture, and people.
  • Karen Thayer is working with the National Democratic Institute's Central and Eastern Europe Division in Washington DC.
  • Peter Toepfer joined the Jesuit Volunteer Corps in Los Angele. He is working in the affordable housing field as a social worker with a caseload of homeless clients and assist them transition into permanent housing.
  • Farah Wong is teaching English in Japan for at least a year with the JET program, which fosters cultural exchange between Japan and other countries.
  • Jessica Wuebker is a Fulbright Scholar. She is working at the newly renovated Dresden Historical Museum.
  • Paul Suk-Hyun Yoon is attending the Lynch School of Education as a Donovan Urban Teaching Scholar as well as a Peter J. Sharp Fellow. He is pursuing an M.Ed. in Secondary Education History.

Class of 2006

  • Wajiha Ahmed spent the summer in India for Urdu language study at the American Institute for Indian Studies.
  • Jamie Anderson is finishing an internship with ACCION International, a non-profit that is working to fight poverty through microfinance. After working in the non-profit sector for a few years, Jamie plans on attending graduate school to pursue a degree in either international development or diplomacy.
  • Joseph M. Beekman attended the Stanford Graduate School of Business' Summer Institute for General Management in 2006. He then plans on spending time traveling in South America and/or Asia. After his travels, he intends to relocate somewhere on the West Coast.
  • Leah Ben-Ami is taking a year off and working in Boston. She plans on pursuing her masters in Business or International Studies beginning the fall of 2007.
  • Claire Brown will spend the summer of ’06 interning at a financial investment corporation in Portland, Oregon. She is moving to Australia in late August to work for a short time, and then to volunteer at a non-profit geared towards conservation of coastal regions. The following fall, she plans to attend law school.
  • Erin Carreiro is moving back home to North Haven, Connecticut. She is working while taking the time to figure out her future plans.
  • Christina Corea is participating in a post-graduate domestic fellowship, the New York City Urban Fellows program, working full-time in the Bloomberg administration and attending lectures and colloquia with city and state officials weekly. She plans on applying to JD/MPP joint programs for the fall of 2007 to concentrate in poverty law and urban policy. She would like to run for local office soon after.
  • Brian Cotroneo is staying in Boston for a year after graduation and working as an Investment Analyst for Citigroup Smith Barney. He plans to apply to law school within the next few years, but before doing so he would like to participate in Teach for America or a similar program.
  • Eskedar Dejene will continue her education here at Boston College through the Lynch Graduate School of Education. She is pursuing a MA degree in Developmental and Educational Psychology and working as a Graduate Assistant for AHANA Career Services.
  • Matthew D’Orsi plans on spending the summer in North Providence, Rhode Island with his family, during which time he will do freelance translation work in the city of Providence and take a summer course at Brown University. In February 2007, Matthew will travel to Buenos Aires, Argentina as a Fulbright Scholar and begin his research on the role of Argentinean popular literature and the development of the Italian pidgin language Cocoliche.
  • Ruben D. Elsinga intends to tour Sweden and Italy over the summer. Following his tour, he will work in a traveling cultural festival in Holland. In the fall, Ruben intends to return to Washington D.C. for an internship at CSIS, Center of Strategic & International Studies. After the internship at CSIS, Ruben will orient himself towards a career in International Relations and Diplomacy and will apply to graduate schools in Europe and America in that field.
  • Rea Mae Gacad plans to stay in Boston to pursue employment within the non-profit sector. She hopes to work on issues concerning immigration, inter-racial or inter-cultural concerns.
  • Nathan Helming is exploring public health job opportunities in the San Francisco and the D.C. areas to gain more experience before pursuing a Master's in Public Health. Tentatively, he will move out to San Francisco to live and look for jobs.
  • Nicole Iannuzzi will remain in Boston after graduation. She will work either at the Massachusetts State House, for a law firm, or for a non-profit organization in the area for the next two years before returning to law and graduate school.
  • Emily Jendzejec will serve in the Jesuit Volunteer Corps. Her placement is as a Southwest Outreach Assistant at the Mustard Seed School for Homeless Children in Sacramento, CA.
  • Patrick M. Kane is spending the summer in The Netherlands working for the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia. In August, he will begin serving as a Peace Core volunteer in Latin America. After Peace Core, he intends to attend law school specializing in international law.
  • Amanda Kavanugh was awarded a teaching assistantship by the Austrian Fulbright Commission. She is spending nine months teaching English in Elixhausen, Austria, which is in the Salzburg Province.
  • Faith Kirkpatrick will serve in the Jesuit Volunteer Corps. Her placement is at People Organized for Westside Renewal (POWER). She will work on community organizing with a focus on fostering political action among the low income population. The objective is to assist this population to effectively communicate to policy makers their views on issues of housing and education.
  • Sora Lee plans to pursue a job in education. After working for some time, Sora intends to apply to law school.
  • Julianne Marley is moving to New York to pursue a position in a non-profit organization or a law firm. She intends to start graduate school in the fall of 2007.
  • Shannon McNamee will take a cross-country summer road trip through the United States. In the fall of ‘06, Shannon will begin her position as an AmeriCorps Volunteer in Columbia, MD where she will manage a volunteer center.
  • Mara Ruth Medina Martínez has been awarded a Fulbright Scholarship. For the next year, she is researching the effects of Iraqi refugees in Amman, Jordan. Prior to her trip to Jordan, Mara intends to pursue advanced Arabic studies in the Middle East.
  • Michael Nuttall is participating in the Rostro de Cristo Program in Ecuador for the next year. He is living in the town of Duran teaching English, working with after school programs and living in an international community with ten other volunteers.
  • Rosa Andrea Ortiz is currently applying for jobs internationally and locally in Boston. She is hoping to work at advocacy or educational organizations to promote justice and more opportunity for underprivileged people. After gaining experience in the field, Rosa will be applying to graduate school.
  • Jessica Lee Palumbo has been accepted to the Jesuit Volunteer Corps for the 2006-2007 year. She is working in San Francisco as a paralegal at Lawyer's Committee for Civil Rights, where her main responsibilities will involve legal advocacy for the homeless and working for better conditions within the California public school system. After her year of volunteering, Jessica plans to attend law school, specializing in Human Rights Studies and International Justice.
  • Damian Park will spend the summer in Argentina. He is currently pursuing a position in a marketing firm in New York City to begin next fall.
  • Erica Reid will spend the summer traveling through Europe. Upon her return, she will spend two years in New York as part of a four year training program to become an Underwriting Manager with the New York Life Insurance Company. Following her two years in New York, Erica will complete her training at various company sites in Asia and South America.
  • Alicia Reznick will travel to Prague to attend a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certification course. Following her certification, she intends to begin teaching English either in Prague or elsewhere in Europe.
  • Emily Hana Roh will defer from Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health for one year to do an internship abroad in either South America or Seoul, Korea and Tokyo, Japan. Following her internship, she will return to New York to attend Columbia University for a dual-degree Master's in Public Health and International Affairs. She hopes to continue on to a career in advising in foreign health affairs for organizations like the World Health Organization.
  • Emily Sacknoff traveled for two weeks in South America in the summer of 2006. Afterwards, she moved to New York City in July to start her job at Katz Media Group, Inc as an Account Executive.
  • Jean-Paul Sanday is working as an Associate at Summit Partners in Boston, MA, a venture capital and private equity company.
  • Prabhdeep Singh is working as an Investment Banking Analyst at Canaccord Adams, an Investment Bank in Boston focusing on small to mid-cap emerging growth opportunities. He plans to attend law school in the future.
  • Jacob B. Stahl will be working in Boston for an economic consulting firm specializing in antitrust litigation. He plans to attend graduate school after working for two to three years.
  • Nicole Christine Stone will spend the summer working at Boston College with the Office of Residential Life. Nicole plans on relocating to the Metropolitan Washington D.C. area in the fall.
  • Shane Stryzinski is spending the summer on an immersion trip with Boston College to Cuernavaca, Mexico. Upon completing his Mexican immersion, Shane will begin searching for positions in the non-profit world with human rights organizations. Shane hopes to apply the knowledge he gains from political and legal work to graduate school work in international relations with a focus on the Middle East, and eventually in a career with the United States Department of State.
  • Meaghan Sullivan is currently working for Global Services on State Street in Boston in their Tax Service Department.
  • Daniel Trovato plans on spending the summer in New Jersey with his family. He intends to work for the US Department of State pending his results on the Foreign Service Exam.
  • Caroline Zwick is currently applying for post-baccalaureate pre-medical schools in the Los Angeles and New York area for the upcoming fall semester. Her long term goal is to pursue a career in the medical field with a specialization in orthopedics or pediatrics. She hopes to spend considerable time later on volunteering in medical settings in Africa.

  • Nuha Abujaber is exploring a job opportunity in New York with an event mangement company.
  • Atlas Anagnos is going on a Fulbright Teaching Grant to Germany.
  • Lisa Bernabei is continuing her work as a research assistant, Lisa plans on spending time with family and friends this summer. In the fall, she will be a first year law student at Boston College Law School. Lisa plans to pursue immigration and international law.
  • Jessica Biscup plans to travel to Europe after graduation and will start working at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC in the fall.
  • Santiago Bunce is volunteering in Guayaquil, Ecuador with a program called Rostro de Cristo. He is living with 12 other Americans working at a school, health clinic, or after school program.
  • Ashley Bynoe is exploring the possibility of obtaining a Financial Analyst position and a career in International Finance.
  • Victoria Diaz is studing for the LSAT and applying to law firms.
  • Christopher DiSchino is attending the University of Miami School of Law.
  • Mariette Gonzalez is attending Babson Business Edge Program at Babson College.
  • Paula Gonzalez has an assistantship with the Intersections program and is working on a masters degree in Higher Education at Boston College.
  • Alana Greer is volunteering with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps in San Francisco. She is working as a Paralegal for the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights, focusing on Homeless Rights and Education equality.
  • Lizeth Ofelia Mora Hernandez is teacing English at Cushing Academy in Ashburnham, Ma.
  • Amanda Hinkle is teaching English to middle and high school students in China through the WorldTeach program.
  • Laura Hopps is at the Centro Cultural Batahola Norte in Nicaragua. She is overseeing a volunteer program for teaching English, promoting cooperatives, and collaborating with other community projects.
  • Matthew Hughes is working at Price Waterhouse Cooper in New York City.
  • Eliza Hynes is teaching English in Nosara, Costa Rica.
  • Meaghan Lynne Krupa is working on her masters in International Relations at New York University.
  • Aleksandra Lada is working on a one-year rotation program at General Electric Healthcare.
  • Carolyn LaMonica is a nurse on the general medical unit at Massachusetts General Hospital.
  • Vanessa L. Lara is a nuse in Pheoniz Arizona.
  • Jessica LoBoen is working for JP Morgan as a financial analyst in New York.
  • Coutney Pladsen is a nurse at Washington Hospital Center in the Emergency Department.
  • Lindsay Purnell is a law student at Wake Forest University.
  • Sascha Rubin is in Tubingen, Germany researching a Fulbright project at the Institute for Political Philosophy.
  • Sophie Thibodeauis researching for the Global Strategies for Change project, which aims to compile women's legislative rights campaign strategies across the Global North and South in order to better understand the trends and innovative strategies tht are being used to frame and communicate campaign messages.
  • Amanda Watral has recieved a Fulbright Grant and will spend the next year working as a teaching Assistant in Germany.
  • Alanna Wong is working on a masters degree in Ethics, Peace, and Global Affairs in the School of International Service at American University in Washington D.C.
