The Boston College Marching Band Dance Team performs live with the Boston College Screaming Eagles Marching Band. The Dance Team, along with the Color Guard, helps to deliver an extra visual impact for the Marching Band throughout the Eagles’ football season. The Screaming Eagles Marching Band is an integral part of the Boston College game day experience. The Band brings spirit to the Superfans and inspires the Eagles to victory, and promotes a positive atmosphere for all to enjoy!
Time Commitment:
All members of the Dance Team are required to attend all home football games, parades, pep rallies, and other predetermined functions of the Marching Band. Rehearsals take place every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:45pm-10:00pm from September through November.
All members typically attend one predetermined away football game and any of the post season games (e.g. ACC championship or a bowl game) with the full Marching Band.
Audition Process:
Auditions occur via video. Dancers are asked to submit a recording of either a studio routine and/or a selection of dance skills that may include but are not limited to:
