Stuart Hall Moot Court Room (M401)
Our newly renovated Moot Court Room can be used in two settings: one as
a classroom and the other as a teaching courtroom. As a classroom, the
room features:
- S-VHS/VHS videotape playback
- BC Cable TV access
- Internet connection
- LCD Projector connection
- Sound system for program and voice amplification
- Wired or wireless lavaliere (tie clip) microphone
- DVD playback
- Document Camera that runs through the LCD Projector
- Local audio cassette playback /recording
- Local VHS video recording
- Traditional overhead transparency projector
- Touch panel control at lectern for equipment and lights
As a teaching courtroom, the room features:
- Computer access at the Judge's Bench.
- Camera and program monitors and touch panel to control all systems
located at the Judge's bench
- Local control by instructor/judge of three cameras and the projector
signals with the ability to record onto VHS tape
- Audio can be both played back and recorded simultaneously on dual
cassette deck
Stuart Hall Seminar Room (M-410)
- Ceiling mounted LCD Projector
- S-VHS/VHS videotape playback unit
- Computer interface wall plates at two locations
- Cables located in the AV storage cabinet for connecting a laptop to
the Network and for LCD projection
- LCD projector and videotape playback unit controlled by remote control
units (*Remotes must be pointed at either the projector or the video
unit for proper operation)
- Lighting controlled by wall switches identifying light patterns
- Wall switch for electric projection screen
