The Committee sponsors and participates in several on going programs to help foster Dr. King's philosophy of community service.

A member of the Committee spends a week each August teaching at the Jesuit summer camp. During that week, the Committee sponsors one day for the teachers to devote their time to teaching about Martin Luther King, Jr. and his philosophy of non-violence.
