Mission, vision, & program overview
IMPORTANT DATES FOR Winter Break 2009-10 PROGRAMS
In order to participate in an Arrupe 2009-10 Winter Program, an Arrupe participant must take part in each of the following events/activities (NOTE: Some dates and events may change):
SPRING SEMESTER 2009

First Team Meeting: Thu. 4/23/09 OR Fri. 4/24/09 (Date and time determined by each team’s leaders) (Note: if you are studying abroad, you are not expected to be present).

Kick-Off Event: Sat. 4/25/09 at 9:30 or 10:00 am to 1:30 or 2:00 pm (Note: if you are studying abroad, you are not expected to be present).

Second Team Meeting: Sometime during the week of Sun. 4/26/09 (Date and time determined by each team’s leaders) (Note: if you are studying abroad, you are not expected to be present).
FALL SEMESTER 2009

Note: Each program’s weekly pre-trip Team Meeting time will be determined by each team’s leaders, starting the week of Sun. 9/13/09.

Pre-Trip Retreat: Fri. 9/18/09, late afternoon to Sun. 9/20/09, late afternoon.

Globalization Presentation: Wed. 10/14/09, early evening.

Faith Does Justice Presentation: Tue. 10/27/09, early evening.

Commissioning Mass: Tue. 12/8/09, early evening.
Note: There may be additional presentations as part of the trip preparation process.
WINTER BREAK 2009-10
POSSIBLE WINTER BREAK TRIPS:
Belize, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico – border, Mexico – south, Nicaragua: Fri. 1/8/10 to Sat. 1/16/10 (give or take a day or two).
NOTE: The destination of these trips may change – within or outside of the countries mentioned above.

Welcome Back Night: Mon. 1/25/10, early evening.

Arrupe Photo Exhibit: Fri. 4/23/10, late afternoon/early evening.
