Multi-Faith Programs & Services
Boston Area Multi-Faith Services and Worship Opportunities
Multi-Faith Religious Holy Days
WELCOME! Boston College supports all of our students in their search for ultimate meaning in their lives. This is the very basis of "education of a whole person" and a real part of our Ignatian heritage. There are many opportunities at BC for students from other faith backgrounds to learn about their tradition, to celebrate, worship and to join in fellowship with others. Below is a list of recognized BC campus religious groups. Go HERE for a listing of Boston-area multi-faith services and worship opportunities. |

- Meetings: Mondays, 7:30 PM in the Multi-Faith Center in 66 for Bible study, prayer, and fellowship.
- Every Sunday transportation is provided for students desiring to worship in the African American church tradition. The final stop of the Gospel Caravan is the Mass Ave Baptist Church in Cambridge. However, there are other churches on the route: A.M.E., Baptist, Episcopal or Pentecostal.
- Retreats are time spent away from campus seeking spiritual direction, reflecting on our lives and relationships with Jesus Christ and our community. Time is spent in prayer, workshops, silence and having a good time with other participants. Most people think of retreats as very serious, "all work, no play" type of events and are pleasantly surprised to find out how much fun a retreat can be. MCCF also sponsors social events and other activities.

Interfaith Coalition (Formerly interfaith Dialogue Club)
Our ability to act with compassion, love, and respect towards all humankind, regardless of cultural or faith background, is of paramount importance. The ability to engage in dialogue between different faith traditions has become increasingly important in order to gain an inter-religious and inter-cultural perspective on global affairs, as well as a way to strengthen one's own faith.
We hope to engage in all forms of dialogue, such as visiting worship services, engaging in service projects or sharing personal testimonies in a small group setting. We are currently seeking to indentify student leadership. If you have an interest in working to further interfaith dialogue and understanding, please contact Rev. Hoard McLendon, Multifaith Campus Minister, 2-2793.
United in Christ
The umbrella organization for Christian student groups
United in Christ is the umbrella organization over all the Christian Fellowship on campus. UIC seeks to foster a Unified Christian Community, increase awareness about the Christian faith, and make known the diverse opportunities for student involvement in the various Christian Fellowships.
This vital student organization is currently inactive due to lack of student participation and leadership. If you have a heart for Christian Unity and are interested in participating in the rebirth of this organization, please contact Rev. Howard McLendon, Multifaith Campus Minister 2-2793.
