Campus Ministry for Graduate &
Professional Students

Welcome! Because the schedules of graduate students are so varied, the greatest challenge is to find a time that works. If you’re interested in any programs, but they don’t fit your schedule, please email me (mary.sweeney.4@bc.edu) or call me (617-552-3645) and there might be another way of working out the conflict.

Please watch the newsletter for future events, including retreats, prayer programs, dinners with spouses, and volunteer opportunities. If I can be of any help, please let me know. I look forward to meeting you.

Peace!

Growing Through Grief, a group gathering for those who have lost a loved one, will take place on the first four Wednesdays of April: 2,9,16,23. This is an opportunity to share your story and to support others. Place: Cushing Chapel, next to Room 326 in the School of Nursing. Time: 5 pm.

Next Sunday
“Next Sunday ,” meets on Wednesdays at 3 PM at Murray House.  We meet to read and discuss the Scripture readings for . . . yes, the next Sunday.

Daily and Sunday liturgies
take place at various times and several different chapels on campus; this is the liturgy schedule page.

The Institute for Religious Education and Pastoral Ministry (IREPM)

also welcomes graduate students to its liturgies on Thursdays at 12:30 at St. Joseph’s Chapel.

Volunteer Opportunities
If you’re interested in finding a place to donate some of your time, check out the campus Volunteer and Service Learning Center. If you’d like to coordinate a grad group, let me know.

“15 Minutes of Peace and Quiet and Prayer”
: Every Thursday 4 - 4:15 PM anyone who would like to re-discover the stillness is invited to gather in the Cushing Chapel, next to Room 327, in the School of Nursing. We listen to music or Scripture, then sit quietly; we close with intercessory prayer.

Former JVC and JVI

folks are invited to gather. Please email me to let me know who you are and what school you’re in. Last year we had several meetings.

Are you a married student?

Would you like to get together with other couples to talk about the ways you make it work at your house? We’ll be planning events, so if you’re interested, email Sister Mary: Mary.Sweeney.4@bc.edu
