Ignatian Society of Boston College
WHO WE AREAt Boston College, graduates of Jesuit high schools are encouraged to continue in the Jesuit tradition of being men and women for others, sharing the spirit that formed them in their high schools, encouraging others in the ways of Saint Ignatius of Loyola, and promoting the Magis on our campus and beyond.
Join us in our many spiritual programs and service activities as we together seek the greater glory of God. Our programs and activities listed below are offered by Ignatian Society members for the entire campus. All are welcome.
The Ignatian Society hosts many events at the Manresa House, which you can learn more about here. If you have any questions, contact President Matt Lechner at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you would like to be added to the listserv, email Patrick McGervey at email@example.com.
Weekly Examen Reflection
Every Wednesday, 9:45 pm at Manresa House, 58 College Road
Take 15-20 minutes out of your night to gain some clarity and perspective on your life through this reflective time that St. Ignatius of Loyola recommended to his followers to help recognize God in all things, in all aspects of a person’s day, week, life . . . All are welcome!
Contact Chris Knoth at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions about the Examen.
Campion Center Visitors
The Ignatian Society sponsors this program, an afternoon for conversation and fellowship at Campion Health Center. Campion Center is the retirement home and infirmary for the Society of Jesus located in Weston, Massachusetts. The members of the Jesuit Community living at Campion are always very grateful to see students from Boston College. Please join us for a visit with these great Jesuits who have dedicated their lives to the greater honor and glory of God. Your presence inspires them and they in turn are a source of great inspiration for us.
Contact Andrew at email@example.com with any questions regarding service projects.
The Ignatian Society's social programs seek to strengthen the bond between two great communities here at Boston College: the undergraduate students and the Jesuits. All BC students are welcome to participate in any and all events. Additionally, each Jesuit high school at Boston College has a representative in the Ignatian Society who keeps in contact with alumni. For a full list of representatives, click here.
