Graduate & Professional Student Ministry
There is always something going on at Boston College, including options designed for graduate and professional students. Check out these oppprtunities and resources below.
Please feel free to contact Sister Mary Sweeney, Campus Minister for Graduate Students, with any questions or to request additional information:
Growing through Grief
Growing through Grief is a group for undergrad and graduate students who are grieving the death of a loved one. We will begin again on January 26 and continue to gather each Monday from 5 - 6:15 PM in the Service Building (located between Campion and Higgins).
Catholic, with Questions
Not studying theology but wish you knew more about your Catholic faith? There are many great articles that can expand your understanding of Catholicism. If you'd like to get together with a small group of grad students to review Catholicism and look at various topics (liturgy, sacraments, morality, Bible, Catholic practices), email Sr. Mary.
Small groups for faith sharing form each semester. If you are interested, email Sr. Mary.
Peace, Quiet and Prayer
Close your school week with 15 minutes of peace, quiet and prayer. Just 15 minutes on Thursdays at 4 PM in Cushing Chapel, School of Nursing (second floor next to room 326). We will practice the Ignatian Examen on some days.
Visit The Volunteer and Service Learning Center for volunteer opportunities.
