Payroll Questions

PAYROLL

In order to get on payroll you must complete the necessary paperwork (application, I9, W4, direct deposit, etc.) Please see the student-employee handbook for further explanation.

TIMESHEETS

Once you have been officially hired you will need to keep timesheets as records of hours that you work. Boston College uses a web based timesheet program called "Kronos." As a student employee you will be responsible for keeping track of you own hours on Kronos and turning in a written record of those hours to your supervisor. (Tutor contacts, IA contacts, Study Center record sheets, etc.)
It is vital that you record your hours in both manners, failure to do so will result in forfeiture of hours.

The Kronos menu is available from you BC Agora account once you are on payroll. To access instructions for use, please go to: http://www.bc.edu/bc_org/hvp/hrsc/kronos_startstop1.html
