A new Library Guide for LGBT studies is now available thanks to Liesel Tyson.  The library guide covers selected reference resources in the field of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Studies. It is interdisciplinary in nature, and is intended to support academic courses and individual research

As part of the efforts of Georgetown University President John J. DeGioia to "strengthen the climate and resources for LGBTQ students" at the university, three working study groups were formed, coordinated by the Vice President for Institutional Diversity and the Vice President for Public Affairs and Strategic Development. Their final reports were accepted by the president, who outlined steps to begin implementation of their recommendations.
