Information Technology Services strongly recommended the following peripherals and accessories as part of the 2009 Laptop Purchasing Program.
How to order
Most of these items, as well as additional items, are available from BC's Apple seller, the BC Bookstore, and BC's Dell seller, Data Networks, online stores or they may be purchased through your local retailer.
Hint: If you order a laptop from the BC Bookstore and Data Networks online store, you can buy accessories from either online store. For example, if you buy a Dell laptop from the Data Networks online store, you can also buy accessories from the BC Bookstore online store, and vice versa.

Laptop LockWhile the percentage of thefts on campus is low, Boston College Information Technology Services highly recommends you purchase a laptop lock. A laptop lock allows you to secure your laptop to study tables in the libraries, residence halls, and dining locations. Since combinations are easy to forget, ITS suggests you consider purchasing a lock with key access. |
