Computing Options at Boston College
You have three options for computer access at Boston College:
Option 1: Buy a new computer
Information Technology Services (ITS) has partnered with the BC Bookstore to make several computer bundles available for purchase. You can also buy a new computer from another vendor, just make sure it meets BC's “minimum specifications.”

Option 2: Bring a computer you already own
If you bring a computer you already own, make sure it meets BC's “minimum specifications.” All computers that access the BC network must have Boston College’s version of Anti-Virus software installed. Windows computers must also have ePO, a security tool, installed. These products are provided to all enrolled students via download free of charge.
