Purchases for the University

Boston College has partnered with Apple and Dell to supply desktops and laptops, with BC specific software preloaded, at specially discounted prices to faculty and staff making purchases of Boston College owned equipment. If the choices don't suit your needs, you can still get special, Boston College pricing when ordering from the Apple or Dell online stores linked from the Purchasing Web site. The recommended computers are the same computer configurations that are delivered as part of the Boston College Computer Replacement (BCCR) program.

Purchases for Individuals

Dell and Apple laptop computers are also available for faculty, staff, and student personal purchase through www.bc.edu/laptop. Computer accessories are available at the Boston College Bookstore.

Support: These computers are fully supported by Information Technology Services. When buying a computer, consider the ITS choice first.  Our on-campus hardware repair staff are certified to repair the ITS recommended brands.

Please note: The ITS recommended Dell computers include a 3-year warranty.  It is strongly recommended that you purchase at least a 3-year warranty with your Apple computer.
