Information Technology Services is constantly working on new projects. Below is just a sampling of some of the projects.

Boston College Computer Replacement (BCCR)
Overseeing the systematic upgrade of all faculty and staff computers on campus, the BCCR program works to select new models of computers, as well as design and implement a process that makes the move from the old computer to the new computer as easy for the user as possible.

Calendar and Email Project

A project to move faculty and staff email and calendaring services to a robust Microsoft Exchange integrated system.

EagleTech Program
A program that utilizes student technology talent to provide in-house technology troubleshooting and advice to our students living in University residence halls.

University Core Systems
The University Core Systems Task Force has been charged with developing recommendations for an overall approach and for establishing priorities for replacing BC's student information systems with applications that are state-of-the-art and student centered.

Day Web Publishing System
An effort is underway to replace the current tool used to edit BC.edu web pages (Collage) with an even easier to use Web Publishing tool that is entirely web-based. The new tool is from the company Day Software, and the product itself is called Day CQ5 Web Content Management. The Web Technology Group will help your department move its existing site into the new environment.
