World Book Day is April 23 and it’s the 20th Anniversary Celebration! It is an annually organized holiday by the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization to promote reading, publishing, and copyright. Wondering how you can celebrate World Book Day online? No fear there are thousands of e-books for your convenience and enjoyment.

Over 53,000 free ebooks available online, for download, or for your e-reading device! There is no registration fee required!

OverDrive gives you access to the most up-to-date, current e-books, classics, audiobooks, and more. All you need is a library card and you have access to the collection at your local library. It’s like having your own public library anywhere, anytime! If the book you want isn't available, simply place a Hold and you will be notified when it is, and the book will be automatically checked out to you. It's like magic for books.
