Get Involved in the BC Security Awareness Campaign
10/02/12
We live in a world where data is kept in a vast variety of places - online accounts, mobile phones, computers, and even filing cabinets. To protect our data, our devices, and our reputations, we must learn about information security. As technology changes, so do the methods everyone should use to help stay safe.
In conjunction with National Cyber Security Awareness Month, Boston College is introducing an ongoing Security Awareness Campaign for faculty and staff that kicks off in October. Throughout the year, members of the BC community will have opportunities to attend information sessions, training classes, and take online quizzes to learn how to protect their data. We guarantee you will walk away with the knowledge you need to keep your information secure. Participate in monthly Security Contests - You may even walk away with an iPad, BC Bookstore Gift Certificate, or other fun prizes!
Monthly Themes
Each month the campaign will highlight a different security awareness theme. Visit the Security Website each month to learn something new about information security.
