Hardware Repair Relocates to O'Neill Library


The Hardware Repair Center recently relocated to O’Neill 208.

Previously located in the Service Building, Hardware Repair is now in a more centralized and convenient location on campus. This new location will allow students, faculty, and staff to get advice and solutions regarding their hardware problems more easily and efficiently.         

Additionally, Hardware Repair’s new proximity to the Walk-in Help Desk will provide improve service to customers. For example, customers sometimes start at the Walk-in Help Desk only to learn their computers actually need hardware repairs. Now both centers can easily be visited in one trip, reducing delays in getting computers fixed.

This move also facilitates communication between the Hardware Repair Center and other IT departments such as the CTRC and TC Organization, increasing the ease of collaboration about hardware and software issues that need to be resolved daily.  

Additionally, the improved collaboration will enable both centers to readily identify issues and trends that may require increased communication between the centers, themselves, and/or other areas of the BC community.
