In order to assist you in forecasting the impact on your budget consider the following data as a guideline:

• Computer vendors change their pricing frequently as the price of components or actual computer models change. The prices increase or decrease.
• Apple computer prices can change as often as every 2 months and on average prices have increased 5% each year since 2005.
• Dell computer prices can change as often as every 6 weeks and on average prices have decreased 7.25% each year since 2005.
• Department-specific software is not included in the cost of computers.
• Peripherals, such as printers, scanners, docking stations, ergonomic mice and keyboards, and extra displays, are not included in the BCCR program.
