Vertices

a one-credit course for juniors and seniors

Vertices logo, Intersections, BC

Vertices seeks to take up the themes of the Three Key Questions posed by the Halftime retreat program and Intersections (What gives you joy? What are you good at? What does the world need you to do?) in a weekly, one credit seminar for juniors and seniors. Using a backdrop of Ignatian practices and ideas, weekly themes of the seminar seek to explore notions of life and career vocation and the transition from college to “real life.” The process of the seminar includes short reflection papers and readings throughout the semester in an attempt to articulate our fundamental hopes and fears for the future and the roles that relationships, work, service, money, drugs and alcohol, and life at BC (in the “BC Bubble”) have played in shaping those desires and fears.
