SparkOvernight

one-night to focus on decisions of vocation

          SparkOvernight logo

Intersections is offering 1-night retreats to students discerning about a particular career path or vocation.  Similar to SparkLunch, SparkOvernight will provide students a the opportunity to hear speakers share their experiences in a specific field and have time to discuss and reflect, while enjoying free catered meals - all in a time convenient to their busy lives.

Join a small group of fellow students to get away from campus, for just one night, to consider whether a certain path is the right one for you.  Speakers will include a diversity of young graduates and seasoned professionals who have faced the highs and lows of their chosen path.

Examples of past SparkOvernights:

So you wanna be a lawyer?, January 23-24
Calling all writers...,
February 20-21
So you wanna be a doctor?, April 3-4
From Comm Ave to Madison Ave, October 9-10

Testimonials of past participants:

"I feel much more confident not only about getting into medical school, but also about the preparation process.  I felt very comfortable asking the speakers questions during the sessions and before/after.  Moreover, I enjoyed talking to them about other aspects of their life.  It was also nice to get to know a new group of BC kids, and the overnight aspect allowed the development of new acquaintances." - Participant on "So you wanna be a doctor"

SparkOvernights are free, but space is limited. Information will be posted as programs are offered, or contact Kelly Treseler at treselek@bc.edu with questions.
