She completed her undergraduate degree in English at Winthrop University and studied abroad in Norway as a sophomore. During her semester abroad, Charli visited London, Frankfurt, Barcelona, Paris, Rome, and Prague, and later spent two weeks with a scholarship cohort in the Dominican Republic comparing educational services between the Dominican Republic and the United States. She is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Student Affairs and has most recently worked as an RA and reception coordinator at EF International Language School.

Studying abroad was an incredible highlight of Emily McHugh’s college experience. She earned her undergraduate degree at Siena College and studied abroad at the aptly named Siena, Italy. She was able to study literature and art while living with a host family. She cherished every part of the Italian culture and spent a great time traveling to different cities within the country as well as volunteering to teach English in elementary classrooms there. She also traveled to the beautiful country of Spain while in Europe. While back in the United States, she continued to learn about international cultures as an English as a Second Language tutor for an Argentinian student. She is now an aspiring elementary school teacher working towards her masters at the Lynch School of Education. She will eagerly share international memories as well as many volunteer experiences!

Julie is pursuing a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration at Boston College. She graduated from Stonehill College with a degree in Psychology in 2009. While at Stonehill, she spent two weeks traveling in Germany, Poland and Czech Republic and spent a semester studying in Perugia, Italy, where she was able to travel to Austria, Netherlands, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Spain, Ireland and France. After graduation, she spent four months volunteering in Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand and China has since returned to Vietnam and also traveled throughout Australia.
