Role in Office
Margaret (Peggy) as some call her joined Boston College in 1975. She went on from her position as a secretary for the Romance Languages Department to Assistant Director of the Junior Year Abroad Office. At that time, BC had one program of its own in Cork, Ireland. Over the years she has filled various roles in the administrative area in study abroad.
Margaret completed her B.A. at Boston College in 1987 with a major in English and a minor in Psychology. She has traveled to Europe, South America, Australia, New Zealand and Tasmani, as well as many U.S. states.
Administrative & Academic Experience
In 2000 she was appointed Program Assistant for the OIP International Exchange Program. She supports the Assistant Director of the International Exchange Program and manages the incoming applications, events and other administrative areas of the program.
Areas of Interest
Her professional interests are mainly supporting the incoming exchange students in learning the multitude of resources available on-campus, off-campus and the surrounding community.
