office of international programs
Role in Office
Abby Berenson joined the OIP staff in November, 2007. At the Office of International Programs, Abby works closely with BC faculty and on-site coordinators to create over 30 international summer seminars and internships. She advises students regarding their options and works closely with them to find the right seminar for a summer abroad experience. Abby also helped design and oversees the new Global Service and Justice Program. This cohort program provides BC students an opportunity to critically engage with concepts of community service and social justice. Through local and international service experiences paired with group reflection and coursework, students will seek a more informed vision of their role in the world, both locally and globally.
Abby obtained her Masters in Business Administration in May 2012 from BC. She graduated in 2007 from New York University, where she earned a Masters of Arts in Higher Education Administration and worked with the incoming international population at NYU’s Office of International Students and Scholars. She received her B.A. in 2000 from Brandeis University in Waltham, MA.
Prior to BC, Abby worked at McCann-Erickson Worldwide, an internationally recognized advertising agency, and at Brown University, as the Program Director for Brown’s Hillel Foundation.
