Scholarships and Grants

office of international programs

Scholarships are a great way to fund your semester or summer abroad. This page lists a variety of Boston College, national, and international awards. Take time to look through the websites of each of the semester merit and need based awards, as well as the summer awards. Note the eligibility and application requirements, and keep track of the deadlines of each award.

Advising

If you are a member of the Montserrat Coalition, you should meet with JoAnn Lopez, the Montserrat Coalition Liaison and Scholarships Assistant. You can schedule an appointment online.

All students can schedule an appointment with a scholarships advisor online. To prepare for the meeting, please review the scholarships below and come prepared with specific questions.

Students who are interested in pursuing the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship or the National Security Education Program (NSEP) David L. Boren Scholarship must meet with the campus coordinator of these awards, Christina Hatzipetros. Please prepare a draft application essay to bring to your appointments.

Discover additional opportunities and guidance through the University Fellowships Committee, or come into our Hovey House Resource Room to look at The Ultimate Scholarships Book 2014 for more scholarships ideas.
