The Atlantic Coast Conference
The Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), founded 1953, near Greensboro, NC, seeks to maximize the educational and athletic opportunities of student-athletes by affording individuals equitable opportunity to pursue academic excellence and compete at the highest level of intercollegiate athletics competitions. 
The ACC International Academic Collaborative
The Atlantic Coast Conference International Academic Collaborative (ACC-IAC) is a conference program that nurtures academic and administrative collaborations among the 12 ACC universities, founded by David Brown, Provost of Wake Forest University. Boston College is one of the twelve universities of the ACC Academic Collaborative, represented by OIP Director Bernd Widdig.
Scholarships
Each year limited ACC funding is provided to support undergraduate students studying abroad. Boston College students can apply through the Office of International Programs at Hovey House.
Conferences
Boston College students and faculty will participate in the KoƧ University/Atlantic Coast Conference Symposium "Eurasia in a Shifting Global Context: Building Interdisciplinary Bridges," June 18-21, 2009 in Istanbul, Turkey.
