Abby Berenson joined the OIP staff in November, 2007. At the Office of International Programs, Abby works closely with BC faculty and on-site coordinators to create approximately 20 summer courses abroad. She also advises students regarding their course options and works closely with them to find the right program for a summer abroad experience.

Education

Abby graduated from New York University, where she earned a Masters of Arts in Higher Education Administration and worked with the incoming international population at NYU’s Office of International Students and Scholars. She received her B.A. from Brandeis University in Waltham, MA.

Administrative Experience

Abby’s interests have focused on international endeavors, however before graduate school, she worked at McCann-Erickson Worldwide, an internationally recognized advertising agency, and then at Brown University, as the Program Director for Brown’s Hillel Foundation.

Areas of Interest

She looks forward to expanding the summer study abroad options at Boston College, and in so doing, she hopes to attract more students to the option of an experience abroad.
