The BC Applicant Activity is a new page created to streamline the eRecruit Recruitment Process. This page replaces the following steps in the process: Select Applicant for Interview, Schedule Interview, Interview Evaluation, Interview Evaluation Summary. The page is located under BC Custom to allow additional functionality for Originators, Authorizers, Recruiters and Interviewers.
To get to the BC Applicant Activity page, select Home > Bc Custom > BC Custom > Use > BC Applicant Activity
BC Applicant Activity Search Page displays the requisitions defined by the security within eRecruit. The viewing capability is limited to those users defined in the requisition as the Originator, Authorizer, Recruiter and Interviewer.

The BC Applicant Activity page allows the user to access the Utilization information for the particular job,as defined through the job group, sort by selected applicant fields, update race/sex information for those who did not self-identify and update the status code for applicants.

| Fields | Description |
| Applicant ID | The default sort is by Applicant ID. It will sort to show Eagle ID's before those starting with 'A'. |
| Applicant Name | Displays the full name of the applicant. It is set as a hyper-link to click on to access the application and the resume of the person listed. |
| Application Date | Displays the most current date that the applicant applied to this requisition. |
| Applicant Type | Displays if the person is an employee or external applicant. |
| Race | Displays the race of the applicant if they have self-identified. If not, the user can update the information, one time, on a "Best Guess" basis. |
| Sex | Displays the sex of the applicant if they have self-identified. If not, the user can update the information, one time, on a "Best Guess" basis. |
| Status Code | Displays the dispositon of the applicant. This will update based on the reason code selected. |

A user can select from a list of pre-determined values for each applicant. This will allow the applicant to proceed in the recruitment process or be 'rejected' at any stage of the process. It breaks out the values by applicant, candidate and finalist. Originators, Authorizers and Interviewers can update this field. Please see the list of values below. NOTE: Warnings have been built in PeopleSoft to prevent users from moving someone from an applicant directly to a Finalist. An audit trail has been built to track the progress of an applicant through the eRecruit process. |
| Reason Code Description | Displays the full description of the reason code selected. |
Reason Code Values: These values have been selected to allow a user of this page to update the status of an applicant at any point of the recruitment process. It is important that we obtain this information on all applicants and not just those identified as candidates.
