Bcsecure provides faculty, staff, and students with a secure, reliable, way to connect to the wireless network. Unlike other wireless services, bcsecure encrypts wireless data transmissions using WPA2 (Wi-Fi Protected Access 2).

steps. Instructions will guide you through configuring your laptop for bcsecure,
including an important update for known security vulnerabilities in wireless
cards.

February 12th - 23rd. Technology Consultant's will inform users in their departments
of the specific dates and times for the on-site assistance.

BostonCollege is
offered to members of the Boston College community who have a BC username and
password. BostonCollege provides easy access to the Boston College high-speed
wireless network. BostonCollege is not a secure wireless network but
is an alternative for older laptops that do not meet the requirements for bcsecure.
