Looking up BC email addresses when composing a message
WebMail
Summary:  WebMail is already configured to search the BC directory to find names and email addresses . Learn how to look up BC email addresses (of faculty, students, and staff) when composing a message in WebMail.

To look up BC email addresses when composing a message:

  1. Log in to WebMail: New Window  mail.bc.edu
    Note: WebMail is already configured to search the BC directory to find names and email addresses of faculty, students, and staff.

  2. Click Compose Mail (refer to Figure 1).

  3. On the Compose a message page, click address:

  4. Do the following (refer to Figure 2):
    • In the search box, enter the last name or email address of the person you are trying to find.
      Note: You can enter only part of the name or email address, or you can type the exact text that you want to find.
    • From the drop-down list, select BC Directory.
    • Click the arrow button.

  5. To address this message to someone that appears on the search results list, select their email address and click to, cc, or bcc (refer to Figure 3).
