Your BC Voicemail

What's New with Voicemail?

The basic features of listening to your messages on the phone or the web are the same. New features are available for you to opt into, including:

Initial voicemail set up

  1. Set up your new Voicemail
    • Dial 2-4006 (on-campus) or 617-552-4006 (off-campus).
    • Log in using your 5-digit extension (or 6-digits for shared box) and your 8-digit BC Eagle ID (the first 8 digits on your BC ID card) as your voicemail password/PIN. Your old PIN will not work.
    • You will be prompted to:
      • Change your voicemail password/PIN. You may reuse your old PIN, provided it does not include sequential, identical, or adjacent numbers (ex. 12345, 11111, or 14725). See the PIN security requirements (BC sign-in required).
      • Re-record your name.
      • Re-record and activate any custom greetings.
  1. Check for messages left prior to August 6
    • Messages left before August 6 will not be moved to the new system. However, you will be able to retrieve them by dialing 1-4006 (on campus) or 617-641-4006 (off campus), or visiting (requires VPN off-campus).
    • Messages you listened to will be available for 3 days after being listened to; messages you never listened to will be available for 45 days after being received.

Don't know your Eagle ID?

If you forget your Eagle ID, you can:
  • Look at your BC ID card - your Eagle ID is the first 8 numbers.
  • Log in to Agora Portal, select PeopleSoft Human Resources Services, and View Paycheck. Your Employee ID is your Eagle ID.
  • Contact Student Services at 617-552-3300 or 800-294-0294.
