Moving your BC email to your Gmail account

Step 1: Set up your BC email using an email application

Step 3: Moving email from one account to the other

To move email from one account to the other:

  1. Sign in to both your BC email account and your Gmail account within the email application (ex. Thunderbird, Apple Mail).
  2. Select the email or folder you wish to move.
  3. Click and drag the email or folder to the location you desire in the other email account (see Figure 1).

  4. Once you release your mouse, the email or folder is moved (see Figure 2).
    Note: When dragging and dropping Folders, the folder is copied (and will be in both accounts), yet when dragging and dropping emails, the email is moved (and only available in the account you dragged it to).
