Understanding others' privacy preferences

Within Campus Groups you may see privacy preference indications for individuals such as 'email is private' or 'total non-disclosure.' These notations alert you of information that you can access because of your job function but should not be shared with others.

Tips for complying with privacy preferences

Please take extra care not to cut and paste private names or e-mail addresses into the body of an email or into a personal address group(s) that is shared. Using the"Bcc" (Blind carbon copy) field to correspond with groups will ensure that all Privacy Preferences are upheld. Thank you very much for your cooperation.
