What is the Office of Health Promotion?

The Office of Health Promotion directs programs and services that foster the health and well-being of our students and campus community.

If you would like to recieve news about events related to health and wellness on campus, sign up for our listserve!

The Office of Health Promotion provides individual and group health education programming to help you discover strategies to optimize your emotional and physical health throughout your years at Boston College and beyond. 

Our Health Promotion team is comprised of health educators, health coaches, and student volunteers who work collaboratively to advance healthy living habits on campus.

The Office also offers students access to a free health screening to anonymously assess your health and wellbeing!

Individual Health Plans and conversations cover 12 health domains. You will meet with a trained and certified peer Health Coach who will help you to develop personal health goals and strategies to live by.

WellTrack App

Are you interested in developing skills to manage feelings of anxiety and depression? Do you want to work on these at your own pace, on your own schedule!

Then WellTrack may be just the program you need!

WellTrack, a new self-help program, designed to address stress, anxiety, and depression and help you make progress in changing thoughts and behaviors that are not working, and possibly even before these issues get to the point of needing therapy or other mental health services. There are also tools that can be used as an adjunct to therapy.  The program is a secure and anonymous way for you to assess personal well-being and quickly gain access to resources tailored to meet your needs. 

WellTrack is available online at mywelltrack.com, free to Boston College students, with the access code BCWelltrack.  Instructions and additional information are available on the University Counseling Service website: /offices/counseling/WellTrack.html

This new service is brought to you by University Counseling Services and is available to all Boston College students.
