Call For Papers for the 2011 Graduate Research Symposium

The Boston College Graduate Student Symposium is a one-day interdisciplinary presentation of student work from all of BC's graduate and professional schools.  The purpose of the symposium is to provide BC graduate and professional students with the opportunity to share their work, develop conference presenting skills, collaborate across disciplines and celebrate achievements.  Students are invited to submit papers for this year's event. Graduate Student Athletic Tickets Are Now Available!

BC Athletics and the Graduate Student Association are excited to announce that Grad Student Tickets are now available for several upcoming events. Tickets will be in a special graduate student section and are available at a special graduate student rate of $20 (football) and $10 (hockey). Tickets can be purchased for spouses and families! Spaces Are Still Open for Day of Wellness on November 13th

The Episcopal Chaplaincy at Boston College and the Office of Graduate Student Life are co-sponsoring a Day of Wellness on November 13 for graduate students, giving you the chance to discover the meaning of “balance” as a necessary component to graduate student life and learning. Looking for an opportunity to gain valuable experience working with students in a leadership capacity? Halftime is a weekend retreat at BC where students can talk about some key questions that will help them reflect on where they have been, where they are, and where they are going. Growing Through Grief

The Growing Through Grief program is a gathering for those who desire to work through their grief with peers who have also experienced the death of someone who has been significant in their lives. A campus minister facilitates the sharing. The group meets Mondays at 5 pm in the Service Building, Room 205B. Click here for more information.

15 Minutes of Quiet Reflection Can Make a Difference in Your Week

"15 Minutes of Peace and Quiet Prayer" offers graduate students time to re-center and re-focus. Participants meet Thursday afternoons from 4 to 4:15 pm in Cushing Chapel, next to room 326. Click here for more information.
