Make this year's holiday season a little warmer for local families!
|
Please consider donating to the Office of Graduate Student Life's 2010 Holiday Coat and Toy Drive. Through December 20 you can drop off gently worn coats and jackets and new, unwrapped toys at the Murray Graduate Student Center. Your donations will then be distributed to less fortunate families throughout Greater Boston by the Coats for Kids Foundation and Greater Boston Toys for Tots! Click here for more information.
As the semester nears its end, it is time to think about the 2011-2012 GSA Executive Board Elections. The GSA serves two primary purposes: to provide programming to meet graduate student needs and advocate within the greater Boston College community for issues of importance to graduate students. If this is of interest to you, there will be three positions open for the coming academic year (President, Vice-President, and Financial Director). Please check out our website for position descriptions, important dates, elections code, and general information, and email us with any questions.

Sponsored by the Volunteer & Service Learning Center and the Neighborhood Center, the 6th Annual Fair Trade Holiday Sale is a collaborative effort among concerned administrators and faculty at Boston College who seek to spread awareness of and access to fairly traded goods and crafts on our campus. This year, BC Dining is working with them to transform the 2nd floor of Corcoran Commons into Fair Trade Central! Click here or here for more information about this worthwhile event.
