Founded in 1997, The John Courtney Murray, S.J. Graduate Student Center is dedicated to the support and enrichment of graduate student life at Boston College. Its primary purpose is to build a sense of community among the entire graduate student population, and cultivate a sense of belonging to the University as a whole.
The Murray Graduate Student Center strives to fulfill its mission by providing a welcoming space set aside exclusively for graduate students, as well as through a wide range of programming developed, implemented, and promoted specifically for and by graduate students.
While the Murray Graduate Student Center plays a fundamental role in contributing to the enrichment of graduate student life at Boston College, it is only one facet of graduate student life at the University. In collaboration with students, faculty, and staff throughout campus, the Office of Graduate Student Life staff work to address those issues of concern for graduate students in all disciplines.
We want to hear from you! Contact the Murray Graduate Student Center at gsc@bc.edu.
Reserving Murray Graduate Center Space
The Murray Graduate Student Center was established and exists to serve the entire graduate student population at BC. Graduate students and graduate student organizations - along with BC employees, offices, and departments - are welcome to reserve various areas of the Murray Graduate Student Center as long as their purpose for gathering is graduate student related and/or includes graduate students. However, priority for MGC usage is given to graduate students.
